Young Adult Cancer Survivors (YACS) of Smith Center is a group that addresses the unique challenges and concerns of young adults in their 20’s, 30’s, and 40’s who are living with cancer. The group provides a forum for fellowship and meetings with creative and relevant topics ranging from integrative health and fertility choices to coping strategies, relationship issues, and everything in between. Our meet-ups bring YACS together with those who share a common bond and want to have fun, support each other, and learn along the way.
YACS at Smith Center welcomes young adults at all stages of treatment and survivorship, including those who are newly diagnosed, currently in treatment, any stage of post-treatment as well as the caregivers and friends who support them. Meet-ups are usually the first Tuesday evening of each month at Smith Center for Healing and the Arts, but check this page for up-to-date meet-up information.
